5. Kangal


The Kangal is a giant guardian mastiff able to deter wolves or bears. Originating in Turkestan regions, it can be calm family protector or a serious threat depending on upbringing. Usually gentle when settled, it is fiercely defensive if it senses danger. Reported bite force figures reach up to 743 psi.
