8. Duvet vs. pillow

Pillows accumulate oils, hair, and dirt, becoming a hotspot for fungi and dust mites. Clean pillows every three months, especially if using protective covers, which should be washed monthly at minimum.
Duvets, shielded by covers and less exposed to skin, need washing only about every six months. This schedule keeps them fresh while preserving their quality.
