The estate is situated on Paradise Cove, one of Malibu's most beautiful beaches, which is lined with the residences of some of the world's richest people, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Laurene Powell, the widow of Steve Jobs. Amidst the stunning homes, there is one that appears aesthetically odd and has been deserted for a long time. It was purchased by Cynthia Beck from Gordon Getty in 1999. It is important to note that she is purportedly the owner of at least twenty residences in the Los Angeles area, many of which are abandoned and neglected. No one understands why she has allowed this property to deteriorate in this way.
