15. Moses Bridge, Netherlands

Dubbed the Moses Bridge, this extraordinary structure once served as part of a defensive water system during the Dutch Eighty Years' War. Today, visitors can walk "through" the water, as the submerged bridge lets you reach Fort De Rovere while staying concealed. The surreal sensation of treading below the water's surface is utterly unforgettable.
