21. U Bein Bridge, Burma

Constructed in 1850, the U Bein Bridge is the world's longest teakwood bridge, spanning Taungthaman Lake in Myanmar. Over time, decay has taken its toll due to scarce durable materials, and local police now patrol to ensure safety amid crime concerns. Despite these issues, it remains a vital crossing and an emblem of Burmese heritage.
